Sue Wong Fall 2015: Mythology of Fashion

The 2015 collection of coined designer, Sue Wong, is a showcase of ancient Grecian culture. Mythos an Goddesses was the theme presented, most recently at Art Hearts Fashion Week. The inter dimensional fashion, was observed by an audience of a sold out 900 admirers. The 2015 line did not disappoint as a hypnotic real representation of archetypal beautiful goddesses. The collection features classic elegance with a sense of a warrior.

The attention to detail, using beautiful lace, beads, chiffon and ruffles made for a realistic display of timeless fashion. Extraordinary head pieces, dim lights and live vocals set the mood for this sensual yet cryptic  like setting. Sue explains “It’s not just a gown or mere fashion. I create an experimental transformation, awakening the inner goddess in every woman who wears SUE WONG.” The three patron goddesses, Aphrodite, Artemis and Athena, inspired Wongs’ mythical line. Love, beauty, being fierce, truth and wisdom are the elements that drove this culture. A goddess is inspiring because of her strength, she is beautiful because of her beliefs. Wong aimed to turn women into goddess and surely delivered.

With neutral earth tones, metals and bold accents, Greece a thousands of years ago meets, old Hollywood. Mixing generations and visualising the future is key for amazing art. Sue Wong has constructed a beautiful and majestic look, which is gorgeously displayed in this fashion show. Wong will continue to wow with her culture, glamorous, mystical sense of style. Alluring, dazzling and passionate can best described the coming designs of  2015.
