Suzywan DELUXE S/S'14: #OhMyCuteness - The Clothes Maiden Magazine

Designed and handmade in South Stockholm by Frenchwoman Suzanne and her Swedish boyfriend Isak, Suzywan DELUXE is jewellery brand that differs from the norm.

The label incorporates a unique mix of culture from its designers: France’s bold, revolutionary attitude plus Sweden’s clear forms and careful craftsmanship, also taking inspiration from old school hip hop, electro and 80s fashion.

Suzywan DELUXE’s ‘Give me a break’ necklace marked the launch of the brand in 2011; since then, many slogan pieces have been sold across Europe and worn by celebrities such as Snoop Dogg, Leslie Hall and Kitty Kat. The label’s fresh, alternative approach to jewellery offers lashings of gold and brave colour combinations, adorning intriguingly-shaped metal and plastic.

The S/S ’14 collection, #OhMyCuteness, combines a delicate French style with the vibrant street fashion of LA. Its simple patterns and pastel colours are suitable both for modern and vintage styles, and can be seen across an extensive range of statement necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings. A muted cloud and rainbow image is featured on several products in this offering, such as angular earrings with complementary necklace, creating a severe yet feminine vibe. The Gradient Chain Necklace combines a chunky, pink and blue chain with a stand-out glittery, 3D trianglular pendant – ideal for that powerful, urban look.
