This Spring Summer Icelandic women’s streetwear brand, Nikita, have joined forces with London based creative collective Copson St to create a 15 piece capsule collection.

Formed from a history of friendship, Copson St founder, Maria Falbo, started skating for Nikita 5 years ago, during this time she created her blog Copson St which in turn has become a lifestyle hub of all things related to Maria’s mantra of Tropical Living.

It was through this love of skating and a keen eye for design and style that Maria, along with co-designer Emily Deyn embarked on the collaboration with Nikita. With their flare for urban- tropic living Copson St design team have incorporated two striking bespoke abstract prints onto classic Nikita silhouettes.

The collection takes you through a range of summer essentials including cut out swimwear, retro running shorts and varsity prep inspired slogan baseball jerseys. Touches of tropical prints, soft chambray and acid washed pastels run throughout culminating in a smorgasbord of colour mixed with a laid back attitude.

The campaign was shot by Icelandic photographer Saga Sig who has previously been commissioned by the likes of Dazed and Confused, Topshop and Burberry.

The tying of the urban and mystical landscape to the figures within her images are key to Sig, making it an ideal pairing for Nikita. The campaign successfully captures the importance of the land, making it the best backdrop to reflect the true value of Nikita clothing. Nikita and Copson St present a relaxed sun kissed capsule collection.
