At Dead Dolls House Islington, they love a party, and what better excuse for Thursday night fun than a celebration of the country that gave us tequila, mariachi, tacos and (get the cocktail shaker ready) #MARGARITAS!? The Fifth of May is to Mexico what St Patrick’s Day is to Ireland: a date that’s associated the world over with a particular country and its culture. So, they’re ordering in handmade piñatas, a mariachi band, a frozen margarita machine and some damn funky DJs. As well as their usual range of delicious food and drink, their bartenders’ll be serving up a fat range of tequilas, mescals and bespoke Mexican cocktails all night long, the main bar will be open until 4am.

Tucked away in one of their hand-illustrated private rooms they’ll be hiding an exclusive tasting room, where an industry expert will be offering rare Mexican spirits for both the connoisseur or the fan of the tequila slammer. Entrance is free.
