We have definitely found the perfect summer dresses. Wiksten is an online shop that was such a glorious little discovery. 

The Wiksten clothing and accessories line is designed by Jenny Gordy out of her studio in Iowa City. 

Jenny worked as a technical designer and fit model in New York City before studying Pattern-making at the Fashion Institute of Technology and then starting her own company. 



Wiksten is the Swedish last name of Jenny’s grandmother Ruth, who spent many hours teaching her to sew as a child. Jenny works in natural fibers such as cotton, linen and silk – and defines the Wiksten aesthetic with clean lines, impeccable craftsmanship and supreme wearability. Isn’t each dress simply adorable?
