Mishka S/S’13: Fresh prints Stephanie AndersonJune 19, 20130 viewsdesignFashionStyle0 Comments0 views A New York City fixture since 2003, menswear fashion label МИШКА (“Mishka,” or “bear cub” in Russian) clawed their own path through the often homogenous streetwear world, beginning humbly as a small T-shirt upstart. Founded by Mikhail Bortnik and Greg Rivera, the label has released its Summer ’13 cookbook. The collection features patterns that speak for you; so you can save your breath on the most sweltering of days. These clothes are made for stoop chillin’ and street stalking. “Demure,” “clean” and “simple” are words to be avoided here. The clothes bellow a mighty roar that defines your independence — so you don’t have to. The lookbook showcases the graphic shirts and hats that МИШКА has become famous for. The collection was photographed by Marley Kate. It is available online, and in-store now. Watch the summer 2013 video here.
