EL CALDERO

I don’t know what happened you guys, but ever since I was a child I’ve been obsessed with dinosaurs.

I don’t think I can handle that once upon a time they used to roam our planet. I also loved the dino print bedding I had when I was four years old. When I picture it now inside my head, it was definitely for a boys bedroom. I cried and cried which seemed like for hours walking around the shop for it until my dear mum gave in and bought it for me.

I’m 23 years old and I’m close to hyperventilating at the dinosaur collard shirt below, I’d sure as hell wear it to death, and the fact that it’s just plain and simple means you could wear it with pretty much anything.

El Caldero stock some amazing customised vintage pieces, the pastel coloured blouse (first photo) is my second favourite item from the Etsy shop.

Tamara Yajia who’s based in L.A re-invents vintage clothes and accessories and gives them a modern touch, utilising studs, geometric shapes, charms and stones. El Caldero translates to The Cauldron, which I think makes such a perfect name for this particular label.
