A New Fund for a New Year by Matthew C. Martino Amelia GrahamFebruary 4, 20165 viewslifestyle0 Comments5 views One of Britain’s Youngest Philanthropist Matthew C. Martino isn’t showing any signs of slowing down his charitable giving as his charity MMBF Trust announced his new mini fund The Matthew Martino Innovators Fund. This MMBF Trust funded opportunity provides 10 groups or individuals with £250 to help kick-start their creative projects. In the past MMBF Trust has funded everything from dance and film projects to music videos and photography collectives. Whatever creative field you work in, we’ll consider your application. The 23-year old eligible bachelor naturally couldn’t have picked a better time to launch the new fund but Valentine’s Day on the 14th of February with the slogan of ‘With Love From Matthew’. Despite being an umbrella fund under MMBF Trust plans are believed to have been drawn up to make it a standalone fund within years. Notorious for launching new charitable initiatives on his birthdays over the years such as MMBF Trust his international arts charity and MM Enterprise Award his enterprise scheme the innovators fund will aim to inspire, nature and support a whole generation of creatives in the UK. The hot topic now is who will be tipped for top job to oversee the fund as historically most of the Lets Fly authors nearest and dearest get the official nod for top jobs however a wildcard appointment might be on the way for The MMIF as Martino tries to hush rumours of cronyism. The MMBF (Matthew Martino Benevolent Fund) is a UK based international charity that supports filmmakers, actors and individuals studying or working in performing arts worldwide through training grants and scholarships, funding for first time filmmakers and provides sponsorship for film related events such as film festivals and film award ceremonies. We also support aviation students and aspiring pilots with support towards their fees costs, training material and medical costs.
