A158 A/W’15: Dream of Order Collection Evie SwitzerNovember 11, 20151 viewsFashion0 Comments1 views Continuing a tradition of fashion referencing architecture, the autumn-winter collection ‘Dream of Order‘ from A158 takes inspiration from the author’s own fascination with the concrete reality of Le Corbusier. Crude geometric forms in a cool shade of grey evoke his iconic concrete towers. ‘Dream of Order’ is reference to his revolutionary idea of a new order based on architecture. Modernist building colours appear as red, blue and yellow elements of delicate silk organza. Transparencies are balanced by rough cuts on matt grey wool. Along with simple silhouettes there are geometrical solutions, typical of the brand. Can the dream of order become a reality? A158 is a brand of clothes designed for the average woman. Forms inspired by architecture and art have the right proportions for such a body type. The prevalent feature of the collections are clear, geometric lines. All items of clothing and accessories are made in Poland from high-quality materials. Evie Switzer Click here to visit the A158 website.
