Photo: Christie Rachelle What’s some advice you’d give other creative talents. Know your worth! Be careful who you align with, this industry is very smokes and mirrors and 90% of the people you meet want something from you, either it’s your talents, connections, or even money, it’s not a bad thing to network and exchange connections just make sure you are getting something out of it. So it seems like 2013-2015 was your highlight year in styling, but it seems like on social media you haven’t done anything else? I’ve been focusing on being more than just a stylist, bringing more of a business aspect to what I do and I feel like with Creative Director it encompasses everything from the overall look of the brand/client and the production layout, while also thinking about the marketing side. Which I’ve done more campaign ads and promo commercials. We read on your website you’re creative directing for businesses now? At the end of the day my background stems from styling, and the core of styling is to create an image to create confidence; when you’re creative directing for a brand rather it be pharmaceuticals, fashion, real estate – you’re selling a product and you have to know how to market it. Which is why my business background and styling have made such an ease in diversifying my abilities. You’ve not only styled some of the industry’s hottest stars but you’ve also interviewed them? Who has been your favourite celebrity interview? I would have to say all of them have there pros and cons, but my favourite was Nelly, he is so down to earth and very insightful, Also Lloyd Boston, I feel connecting with him was not only work but also a chance for me to pick his brain as I see my career following in his footsteps. What are you working on now ? As of now I recently just finished my collection for my S/S’16 collection from my accessory line, Parcs & Parker and getting it out there for my audience, and later this month I’ll be in Europe to work on a few projects with a couple of clients, and also be the lead scout for a new street style website Slay Style, I will be interviewing potential candidates to be street photographers.
