ANVE BAGS

I love these simple leather bags by Anve, they look pretty snazzy don’t they?
These remind me of the type of bags you take to work with you, that have all your lunch tucked away inside. Although listen, you’d never ever want to put a sandwich in these bags, you’d have to be fucked in the head to do such a thing. These are probably softer than babies skin and even holding them might mark them, so these probably belong in glass cases, on a shelf.

“We draw our inspiration from discovery tours through Lisbon, a beautiful old city full of hidden workshops and warehouses. Our past lives in places like Berlin, Basel, Vienna, Cape Town, and Tokyo have certainly influenced our way to look at things.

We aim to make objects that stay with their owners and become more beautiful with life.

Our objects are produced in small editions, often even unique, depending on the material we find. If we are inspired by, let’s say, a beautiful piece of vintage leather we buy it, even if it’s only enough for one little bag. Everything is handmade with love — either crafted with the help of small local manufacturers or created in our own studio.”
