Artist spotlight: Ruben Ireland Stephanie AndersonMarch 23, 20110 viewsUncategorized0 Comments0 views We can’t get enough of this British, London based graphic designer Ruben Ireland, who’s also featured in the first ever edition of The Clothes Maiden Magazine. He uses mixed media with the fusion of traditional techniques and digital processing to create whimsical, fairytale images that carry emotional weight as well as a relevance throughout our daily lives. His artistic tools include ink, acrylic, foods, weathered paper and even dirty water as well as Photoshop and a wacom tablet. His style is wonderfully weird, dirty water? Seriously? Our favourite image is of the young girl, that seems to look like she is wearing a brown paper triangular hat on the top of her head, sporting that super cool beard looking thing over her face. Ruben’s work is stunningly beautiful and totally original. Take a look for yourselves. Click here to visit the website.
