Caslazur is a new fresh, global luxe ready to wear brand. The brand is based in London but what sets it apart is its unique aura with magical African undertones that shines through the whole label. The founder of Caslazur, the South African born Cassie Sneglar explains that she gets most of her inspiration from her travels in exotic cultures, mythologies and from African folklore.



Cassie studied design at Parsons New School for Design in New York. She then completed a masters in Fine Art at the University of New South Wales, she formed Caslazur during her final semester in Fine Art.

The label reflects her busy and international lifestyle and is dedicated to the globetrotting woman who is looking for cool yet easy to wear staples. The brand specialises in stripped down, eclectic elegance in signature pieces which often are inspired by the designer’s original prints.


The brands S/S’14 collection, Va Va Voodoo arose a result of mixing two cultures together. The collection was inspired by the idea to fuse a modern interpretation of Voodoo aesthetic with the contemporary style from Sydney’s most iconic beach. These two elements from the surfer street style and the glamorous nightlife in Bondi beach to the mix of prints inspired by Voodoo spells designed to bring luck, fortune and also love, is what this collection is all about. The collection consists of delicate silk blouses, maxi dresses, black sporty leather shorts and camisoles in exotic prints. What all Caslazur pieces have in common is that they are travel-friendly, easy to wear and made of luxurious fabrics.
