Casual Cool: Topshop releases first ever Cruise collection Stephanie AndersonJanuary 8, 20141 viewsdesignFashionStyle0 Comments1 views For the first time ever and as one of very few on the high-street, Arcadia Group’s best-selling brand Topshop is to launch a new Cruise collection, following on from the success of last years Pre-Winter range. The simple and modern capsule collection which embodies the understated elegant style of the Unique line is due to release on 9th January 2014. Including 15 key pieces that range from £95- £275, the cruise collection includes co-ordinated separates and a variety of dresses, and is designed and created with luxury materials and fabrics; bonded satin, lightweight silk and raffia are used across a classic monochrome palette, with hints of mint popping through. Graphic bamboo prints adorn tucked-in tea and wrap front dresses, while contrasting sleek clean lines create bold shapes on a matching bomber jacket and sport cut trouser set. A crew neck jumper and knee length skirt, worked in check board raffia are also statement, eye-catching pieces. The collection sees evident influences from big brand names such as Proenza Schouler and Alexander Wang. Marium Ul-Haq The casual and cool pre-collection will be sold exclusively in flagship stores worldwide, including London Oxford Circus as well as online at TOPSHOP.com.
