ctrl+c S/S’15: Pool Collection Lina AyersJune 14, 20153 viewsFashion0 Comments3 views This summer sees the young British label, ctrl+c release a capsule swimwear collection, advancing upon their previous working concept of playfully reflecting and subverting nostalgic graphical references from the designers’ childhood. The ‘pool’ capsule consists of a bold feature print spread over a concise range from T- shirts, mens swim-shorts, women’s one-piece swim-suits to towels. The repeated water texture synonymous with the Nintendo virtual world remains immaculate and immutable. Shot on location at the historic and now abandoned Chadderton Baths in Oldham, the lookbook reflects on the regression of childhood past-times and a youth lost to the digital screen. Following from their debut ‘pre-season’; a series inspired by the football shirts of the ‘80s and ‘90s, ‘pool’ is an introduction to the label’s ‘level-up’ collection due to release in the coming months. Lina Ayers ctrl+c’s ‘pool’ capsule is strictly limited. Click here to visit the ctrl+c website to view the full collection.
