Daniela Gina Geraci: Too Hard to Care Collection Evie SwitzerDecember 9, 201537 viewsFashion0 Comments37 views Daniela Gina Geraci grew up drawing and painting all the time, and always loved art and creating things. When she was 10 or 11 she read a magazine article about fashion and design being a career, so from then on that’s what she wanted to do. The inspiration behind the ‘Too Hard to Care’ collection is about promoting anti-fur, and animal rights, and how people purchase luxury fur products finding it ‘too hard to care’ about the lives of animals due to consumerism. Also taking inspiration from her vegan beliefs, and her opinion on the Angora fur scandal, Daniela suggests so many people often dismiss the lives of animals in order to purchase luxury fur products. The collection is unquestionably effeminate, but has a subversive edge to it, taking inspiration from ‘outsider’ fictional characters such as Wednesday Addams, Lydia Deetz and Daisy Randone. Evie Switzer Daniela Gina Geraci is an illustrator and print designer, graduating from London College of Fashion. Click here to visit the Etsy webstore.
