Designer Spotlight: Alma de Ace

Alma de Ace is a lifestyle-clothing brand that unifies traditional Balinese fabric to bring colour to their men’s and women’s collections regardless of the season. The brand signature is instantly recognisable through the use of colourful fabric to add statement flashes on simple classic pieces that have been influenced by the London fashion scene.

They believe in style over fashion and source fabrics with life and feel. The founder, Seb, has been visiting Bali from a young age and the visits inspired him to develop a brand that combines the Balinese lifestyle with London influences of style and comfort. Seb created his own first exclusive item called “Nyambu,” named after this stunning example of a traditional Balinese community, which is regarded as one of the prettiest villages on the island.

Alma de Ace, from the Latin meaning “soul of unity”, is a bringing together of various cultural fabrics and combining them with detailed contemporary designs. Each season the brand works with local communities to source a number of exclusive fabrics from Indonesia and Bali and this has provided them with the inspiration for the brand’s much-loved signature “Alma – a touch of colour”. Expect fine fabrics and prints with a special personality in their new exclusive range.
