Designer Spotlight: e.gig Melanie StockmanJuly 26, 20151 viewsFashion0 Comments1 views Recently we came across the jewellery design label e.gig – created and founded by the talented Sivanath (Gig) Ditkajohn, who was born and raised in Bangkok. With an eye for unique beadwork, the latest collection consists of wearable bracelets that can be worn any time you like to suit weekends away to day trips in the city. Gig choose to study art in high school and holds a fine art bachelor degree from the Burapha University Bang Saen, which shows as each bracelet is artistically created, using colour schemes that work so well together. As her first job as a designer, Gig was sketching designs and then making the wax carvings for many famous designers and brands. After many years of creating jewellery for other brands, Gig decided that it is her time now to be the name behind the designs and this is when e.gig was born. The love and passion for handwork speaks volume through each piece, nature is always a big inspiration for the brand. Gig is always on the look out for new materials and textures that will give her the power to design more. This jewellery designer has a real passion for design work and making jewellery using and mixing beads together. Each bracelet is made with materials from all over the world, this gives the design the exact special look that Gig dreams about – making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind.
