Designer spotlight: Qian Yang Stephanie AndersonJuly 2, 201435 viewsdesignDesigner spotlightFashionJewelleryStyle0 Comments35 views Jewellery designer Qian Yang graduated from London College of Fashion this year with degree in BA (Hons) in Fashion Jewellery. Today we discovered her work and we’re completely blown away at the intricacy of each piece, from the fine Bulldog bangle to the Love Birds neckpiece. The concept of Qian Yang’s final collection was about ‘Repair’, she used second hand porcelains either already broken or chipped figure, then repaired them back into jewellery. This idea mainly came from Japanese gold repair ‘Kintsugi’, for repair broken ceramics. For this jewellery collection, each chosen porcelain repaired with 24ct gold plated metal. It’s a collection full of fun and she has added a new meaning and extra preciousness to these ceramics pieces. Bailey Moss Click here to visit the website.
