Changing up your switch plate covers is a fun way to add colour to a wall with minimal cost and time! This is a great idea for renters because you can easily remove the plates when you move.
Supplies
- Nail polish in assorted colours
- Bowl (something that you don’t mind ruining)
- Switch plate covers
(Tip- Work fast! The nail polish dries and becomes goopy after a few minutes of sitting in the water!)
Fill up the bowl with lukewarm water. Pour in a small amount of nail polish
The nail polish will float on the surface of the water
Dip the surface of the switch plate into the water, swirl around gently and let dry
