Drop Dead A/W’15: ‘Dead Weight’ Gym Collection Avery ParkerAugust 24, 201576 viewsFashion0 Comments76 views Drop Dead has just launched the new ‘Dead Weight’ gym collection in time to keep everyone active throughout the Autumn/Winter months and we’re in love. The Dead Weight collection is made up of a simple monochrome colour palette featuring strong branding throughout. Drop Dead have focused on the core purposes of active wear through the use of fabrics whether it be breathable mesh or reflective prints, the fabric decisions have been made purely to cater for people when exercising rather than fashion wear. The collection has eight pieces split into guys and girls fits. The two pre workout hoodies both feature branded reflective strips running down each arm. Drop Dead’s Perspective logo as featured throughout DDS15 reflects underneath a layer of sports mesh on the guys ‘Iron Dreams’ Hoodie. Drop Dead’s Cross logo is printed on either leg of the ‘Quad Head’ Shorts and ‘Back Packed’ Bag. The Back Pack has a large internal pocket with numerous hidden pockets ideal to fit your gym kit in. The girls monochrome two-piece featuring the ‘No Cuts’ mesh high neck crop top and ‘Eleven Shorts’ have matching branded white ribbing designed to cling securely to the body when exercising. The lookbook was shot by fashion photographer, Danny Baldwin, in his London studios. The brand worked with new face of Jadore Models, Ursula Griffiths and MiLK Model’s, Lee Davidson. The monotone effect of the photoshoot keeps the focus on the strong aesthetics of the collection as well as enhances the reflective Drop Dead branding.
