DUSK till DAWN A/W’15 Collection

This season, special fabrics such as neoprene, polyester air mesh and wool blend fabrics have been integrated into the DUSK till DAWN A/W’15 collection, with their classics, to form a more uniformed and voluminous look. The variety of material used includes heavy weight jersey, which is structural, and light cotton such as French Terry, for the more relaxed pieces. Last but not least, the brand used classic cotton fabrics both shirting and jersey to complete their more formal styles.

In the collection the brand chose to merge the pattern of an ice-cream cone and the knitting weave to form a unique three dimensional graphic. This pattern instantly became the vital link for all the pieces. Techniques such as digital print and laser cutting onto the surface of the fabric have differentiated this collection from their previous ones. Furthermore, the screen printing and embroidery in this collection, reveals a slight gimmick of the melting process of an ice-cream.

To top it off, the colour of the collection has been split into three sets; a range of cool gloomy blues and greys for their school boys, the vibrant bean red, bubble gum pink and beige for their school girls and lastly their standard classic tones of white, grey and black for the distinctive uniform look.
