East London’s Free Live Music Festival: #BuskTheBox Stephanie AndersonMay 15, 20145 viewsUncategorized0 Comments5 views East London’s Free Live Music Festival was launched on 6th April this year on a sunny Sunday morning at Boxpark. #BUSKTHEBOX is project with EE and AcousticLiveUK that provides a space for live performances every single week. Even on its third week running, the music festival had crowds filling every bit of grass they can with deck chairs while the rest spilled over the railings to grab a chance to listen to some of London’s growing talent and up and coming artists. The line-up included an X-Factor contestant Charlie Rundle from MK1 and girl group M.O among others. Rinse FM’s Yinka Bokinni presented the show, entertaining those in their seats as well as those on their feet. This project runs every Sunday from 1-4pm for six months. If you are an aspiring musician wanting to get your name out there, this would be a fantastic opportunity to do just that. The entry process is very simple: submit a selfie audition on Instagram with the tags #BUSKTHEBOX @BOXPARK @AcousticLiveUK (must be following both). The lucky group or artist, selected by a panel including BOXPARK, EE and a guest from the music industry will have the chance to perform during the last Sunday of each month.
