Last night we were invited to an exclusive event taking place in the centre of London, on Regent Street. The first stop on our Regent Street tour was Aquascutum, in their brand new Great Marlborough Street base. Having recently celebrated their 150th anniversary, their new collection is turning its focus towards a more contemporary vibe whilst still retaining the classic look they are trusted for. They’re also currently collaborating with Harrys of London (great Christmas ideas for him) and have introduced their Junior line this season to keep the little ones looking smart.

Onto Burberry’s flagship store that perfectly combines the old and the new, dripping with heritage and history whilst also housing the largest screen in any retail store. You can choose from millions of options to create your own bespoke trench coat (try it online here)and you’ll see the ‘magic mirrors’ at work when a garment is moved close to a screen. We even got to take a look into the invite only VIP lounge which houses one off pieces that you won’t find anywhere else in the world.

We can’t think of a girl who doesn’t love shoes, so obviously we all went crazy at United Nude. Founded by members of design royalty, Rem. D Koolhaas and Galahad Clark, their shoes are a mix of architectural design, unusual materials and covetable styles. There’s plenty of space to strut your stuff in the mirrors and the disco effect lighting behind the shelves gives off a retro cool. Look out for their Lo Res Pump, a diamond-cut rubber heel that is flying off the shelves.
Our final call was to check out the cool new Kiko Make-Up Milano store that opened this week. Their quality cosmetics and skincare ranges have been extended for the Christmas period to include limited edition palettes, lipsticks and nail varnishes. A big favourite of ours was the Light Legs Crackling Mousse, which as the name suggests, crackles when you rub it in and leaves you feeling energised with its cooling effect. There are two floors to explore so make sure you pick up a basket!
