Fashion Dogs Do The Dog Walk at The Athenaeum Hotel & Apartments

To celebrate the start of London Fashion Week, the Athenaeum Hotel and Apartments, in conjunction with Hiro + Wolf, launched a new fashion collection for man’s best friend. The haute paw-ture range includes colourful quilted coats, pearly button trimmed leads and show-stopping ruffle collars. Taking its influence from the shows presented in New York, Paris and Berlin and the Athenaeum’s luxurious Mayfair surrounds. Hiro + Wolf designer Amy Fleuriot said: “London is one of the world’s most stylish cities so why not have your best friend dressed in the best. “Our Autumn/Winter collection features bold botanical prints seen at Victoria Beckham; pearly-studded collars similar to those at Balenciaga and cosy faux fur jackets and pom-poms spotted at Osman’s A/W’15 show.

“It can be hard work being a top dog about town,” says Bee Friedman, partner and co-designer at Hiro + Wolf. “So after a hard day out hounding the cities hot spots we’ve designed some comfy retreats for dog hotel guests to rest his/her paws in.” Speaking of the collection collaboration, general manager of the Athenaeum Hotel & Apartments, Jeremy Hopkins said: “Our clientele are very stylish and the hotel and apartments are becoming a haven for fashion industry top dogs. That applies to our four legged guests too! “This new range, which can be bought or borrowed for the duration of the guests’ stay includes coats, collars, leads, travel rugs and even beds, to ensure pets have the best that fashion can offer whilst in town.”
