Flat Lamps That Look Tri-Dimensional By Studio Cheba

These lamps look like quite regular looking lamps, just with a more modern look and feel, but there is actually a twist in their design – take a closer look. Each lamp happens to be flat and they trick your eye with their clever wire structure to make you believe that they are tri-dimensional. Studio Cheba created these space saving lamps and got the project started on Kickstarter, where they got way more than sufficient funding. The webstore offers other designs, from galaxy inspired designs to an ultimate cutesy teddy bear model.

Each lamp is made from a thin sheet of acrylic glass, which has been laser engraved to create light-emitting 3-D forms. Once slotted into the sturdy wooden base and turned on, the lamp displays a beautiful optical illusion that challenges our perception of space. This is a functional and delicate design piece suitable for any stylish room.
