Halloween inspiration: Get the Maleficent look

If you’re looking for something a little more creative and topical this year for Halloween why not look to some of the biggest films of the year and their leading ladies to inspire you? Without doubt this year has been the year of strong, sexy, powerful woman. So why not look to some of the most inspirational leading ladies for some fun and unique Halloween ideas?

This look is inspired by the Queen of Hollywood, Angela Jolie! Women want to look like her all year round but why not take Halloween as an opportunity to take it to another level? (But please no comedy lips!) Her character in Maleficent is one that is sultry and strong. Her entire look one that could be perfect for Halloween. The blood red lips, ridiculously sculpted cheek bones, piercing green eyes and of course devilish black leather horns.

Only Angelina could look so good when being bad, but now it’s Halloween so can you! Without doubt a striking look that will cause maximum impact. Also you probably already have some of the basic elements to this look in your wardrobe. All you need are your best black leather boots, a flowy black dress and then top it off with a black cape or shawl. Plus don’t forget a chunky black choker, the chunkier the better! Of course you can add your own twist on this look by accessorising with snake or spider pendants or other Halloween inspired items but in all honesty it will be a standout look even with just the black flowing cape and horns.
