Clapton’s historic round chapel will be playing host to what promises to be East London’s largest vintage fair. The stunning chapel will transform into a vintage mecca catering for all decades starting from the 1920’s upwards. A new regular on the fashion calendar it will be Hackney’s monthly go to vintage destination. Housing 40 stalls of vintage clothing, including ladies, men’s, children’s, 20th century homewares, flowers, jewels and much more. The event promises to cater to every budget so expect flea markets finds from £2 up to £300 designer dresses, the choice is yours. Highlights include clothing by: Christina Eastwood Waking Grey Frida Larsen Black Sheep Antiques Treasures Wardrobe Rabbit Moon Vintage Mini Ink Kidswear Shopping is hungry work, but don’t worry some of London’s hottest street food vendors will be there and ready to serve including “Taco Queens” who will be decamping from their Peckham base to bring us their gourmet taco’s. “Deeny’s Haggis Toasties” offering a taste of Scotland, and cool down after all that bartering with a “Lickalix” handmade fruity lolly. The event includes music by David Brannagan who will be playing and selling his records from the pulpit. The East London Vintage Fair is definitely the place to be this Sunday to get your vintage fix, and the £1 admission fee enters you into a raffle to win £100 to spend at Rabbit Moon Vintage as if we needed more incentive to go.
