Hilvenik by Vero Glezqui Stephanie AndersonJanuary 20, 20130 viewsdesignFashionStyle0 Comments0 views Vero Glezqui is a visual artist from Tijuana, México. She’s been working on her textile project since 2005. It started out as a hobby and little by little it turned into her biggest side project. At the beginning everything was called by the nameglezqui, since it’s her artist name, but in 2009 she decided to give it its own name and separate her two life projects. After some research Vero came up with hilvenik. Her designs are inspired mostly by her fascination with fabrics, its textures, patterns and obviously, colour. Vero loves to experiment with different kinds of textiles, from reused garments to new fabrics that she find in remnant stores and intervene some of them with drawings or just some colour. Each hood is handmade and is a one of a kind design; it comes with an authenticity certificate. Click here to visit the website.
