Home inspiration: INT2 Architecture Imogen McGillOctober 7, 201411 viewsarchitecturedesignlifestyleStyle0 Comments11 views The main objective behind this project was to create a beautiful and functional interior with the minimum area of the apartment, without the high cost and INT2 Architecture nailed it on every level. The visually single space studio is functionally divided into a living room, sleeping area and a kitchen. All the interior solution is in bright soft colours with bright accents on separate parts, from winter pastels to pale greys. One of the main problems is the small apartments shortage of places to store things, so in this interior partitions “thickened” and converted into cupboards – built-in cupboards in the hallway and a small walk-in closet by the sleeping area. Also, the bed in the bedroom is raised to the podium, that, on the one hand, to visually separate the living room and kitchen area, and on the other – to get extra storage space for bulky items (such as blankets, pillows, bed linen and so on). On the balcony seats are made from repainted army boxes that can also be used for storage. The kitchen is a clean, white simple fitting, with colour popping tiles. See more here.
