Hot!MeSS: “A Damn Good Time” Stephanie AndersonJanuary 16, 201441 viewsdesignFashionStyle0 Comments41 views Hot!MeSS is a young, vibrant and fun streetwear brand for men and women, fresh off the block and inspired by high end fashion and urban music. Prints and clothing style might suggest the inspiration coming from the famous 90’s show The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Before the brand started, an up and coming singer-songwriter Tayla Blue posted Instagram pictures of garments created by her on May 2013 in a girl’s bedroom, and picked up 300 followers in the first weekend. Their S/S’13 finally launched after meetings with local UK suppliers in August 2013 with a turnout of over 312 orders on the first day. The first week caught the attention of several celebrities such as Rizzle Kicks, Little Mix, Cher Lloyd, Jessie J and Cara Delavigne among a number of others. Targeting consumers aged between 14 – 24, Hot!MeSS is a bold, original and attractive brand. Their collections will hopefully leave the young people of today hanging about not minding to pay for these clothes to show off the originality and individuality of their style. Pieces are batch produced with prices ranging from £25 to £80 sold directly and independently online that you won’t be able to find on the high streets or through independent retailers. The brand also supports UK Youth, a charity that works with young people in the UK, sponsoring programmes for musically or artistically talented kids by donating 5% of profits made.
