After working as a graphic designer back in her hometown of Japan, Aki moved to Berlin and successfully presented her scarves to fashion markets in the German Capital! Her collections are now stocked globally by the world’s premiere retailers in Europe, Russia, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia. I don’t quite know how to get my hands on one, I shall not give up! Oh man, the name of the label ika.K, comes from the designer’s name, Aki Kimura, spelled in reverse. ikA.K means “unicorn” in Japanese.
