My name is Tristan Pigott, I was born in 1990 and I now live and work in London. I studied Painting at Camberwell College of Arts. What inspired you to begin your artistic career? My Dad is a painter so it was always something I saw as an avenue to take! What do you do when you’re not using your creative brain? Sleep, eat, Pub and attend gigs Do you have any favourite artists out there? John Currin, Hans Hoffman, I also quite liked George Condo’s new paintings Who’s your personal style icon and why? Rust Cohle from True Dectective… (Mathew McConaughey plays him… ultimate attitude!) Do you have a favourite piece of artwork? No… it’s like choosing a favourite song, changes everyday depending on your mood. Although Rubens birth of the milky way never fails to make me laugh. Any exciting projects in the pipeline? I’m currently working towards a second solo show this December so it’s just head down at the moment. How do you see yourself in five years time? Fulfilling my dreams of being a karaoke queen!
