Katy Perry Announced as the Face of Moschino

Known typically for her addictive bubble-gum pop music, it has now been announced that Katy Perry will be the face of Jeremy Scott’s latest campaign for Moschino Fall/Winter 2015. The cropped black wig that Katy wore for the Met Gala this year has made an appearance once more for this campaign. The campaign was shot by renowned fashion photographers Inez & Vinoodh and captures the stars beauty in Scott’s boundary pushing designs. Clad in patchwork denim, a gold lame bra, sexy black pencil skirt and of course an excessive of gold chains and accessories this collection looks set to follow suit with the tongue in cheek style that Scott is so famous for. The campaign also showcases Katy’s amazing body as she poses in only gold stilettos and a graffiti print black coat and graffiti print quilted bag. As a long-time supporter of Jeremy Scott and his work it seems like the perfect pairing as both individuals are known for their quirky, fun sense of style.

It was quite clear that Katy has been hinting at this for a while via social media and the continuous support of Scott by choosing one of his designs for Moschino to wear the Met Gala, one of the most important social events of the year. As well as that Katy was also walked for the Moschino show in Milan last year as a sign of support for her friend Jeremy Scott. Although not a huge shock to the fashion industry the news was made official via her Instagram in which she posted the sultry shots for the formidable Italian fashion brand’s campaign. With two of the most famous, influential people combine for one of the most infamous designers it seems only inevitable that this campaign will be one to watch and lust over.
