Kevin Geddes A/W’15 Collection Avery ParkerMay 19, 201518 viewsFashion0 Comments18 views Kevin Geddes has truly put the autumn into A/W’15. His second collection; a beautiful assortment of twenty pieces featuring his signature sportswear references and clean silhouettes in six vibrant hues of orange. The tonal look of the collection was encouraged by the artwork from graphic novel, Death Sentence. This monotone look has been balanced by Geddes’ play on fabrics, adding depth to the collection and showcasing the first use of leather. Other key fabrics include wool, crepe, shirting cotton and Sherpa fleece. Pieces this season are noticeably more feminine with flattering high-waisted flares and dramatic pleated sleeves. Silhouettes have remained classic, simple and synergetic with last season, adding the KG rubber banding – a fun take on traditional sports branding and keeping a modern edge. Kevin Geddes has over 10 years experience with some of the most celebrated designers including Richard Nicoll and Lulu Kennedy. Learning his impressive design skill set at a bridal company making bespoke corsets and next season is set to reference his technical contemporary bridal training.
