Latest Foodie Trend: Smoothie Stacking Sophie EminsonMay 26, 201621 viewslifestyle0 Comments21 views We all love a good smoothie – who doesn’t, right? Instagram is jam-packed with some of the healthiest, prettiest smoothies you have ever seen. Now the vegan Instagram community has done one better with their new trend: the smoothie stack! This involves taking everybody’s favourite smoothie blends and pouring them into one glass one by one to make a ‘stack’. There are plenty of different ways they have come up with of making these stacks, each one more creative than the next. The Rainbow Stack This layered stack from @foodography_by_jess shows her tasty combination of a raspberry smoothie, a pineapple smoothie and a blueberry smoothie stacked perfectly on top of one another to create a vibrant coloured concoction perfect to drink in the sunny weather. The Ombre Stack Foodie Instagrammer, @thenovicevegan brings us this lovely ombre stack, made up of a mango, orange and banana smoothie blended in with a strawberry and banana smoothie to make this lovely ombre effect. This smoothie is simple and easy to make and a great way to impress friends when they come over. The Separated Stack This separated stack, brought to us by @juliecmboyer, founder of the 30 Day Whole Body Detox program, is made up of a bottom layer of blended spinach, banana and mango and a top layer of banana and mixed berries separated in the middle with chia seeds. The Chunky Stack The chunky stack, consisting of two different smoothie blends with pieces of non-blended fruit in the middle here is shown by @yoursnaturely. This consists of mango, orange, red dragonfruit and blueberry smoothie mixed with flaxseed, almonds, granola and lemon essential oil smoothie with chunky pieces of strawberry in the middle. It looks absolutely gorgeous! So, what’s the verdict? Are you going to start stacking your smoothies to make these delicious rainbow beauties? We are! Sophie Eminson
