Liam Asson for Love Magazine Stephanie AndersonApril 21, 201118 viewsdesignEditorialFashionStyle0 Comments18 views We met Liam Asson a few years ago now through a group of friends, and our first impressions of this guy, was simple, “what a fucking crazy cat.” And that is all what came to mind. His hair isn’t just styled this way for the shoot, he wakes up every morning and it happens to be like that. His “I don’t give a fuck” attitude and style is something that won’t leave you if you met him. We can assure you on that one. His style is so wildly unique and outrageous, Love Magazine picked up on it back in 2009, they invited only him down to do an editorial for them. David Simms did the photography, and Liam just did his thing in an old abandoned cottage. We met up again recently and had a chat to reminisce about the good old times, and then he decided to tell us about his new clothing line; “Doesn’t fit/ fucking ugly clothing” and this controversial name came from his friend one night when they were talking about naming their new punk collection, so Liam decided to just go with it. His idea simply came down to money, and that was it. He started making clothes because he couldn’t afford the ones he wanted from the shops. Liam had always painted jackets for friends and for himself. With people always asking him where he got his clothes from, it only made sense to start something new and exciting. Some would say this is living the true sustainable lifestyle, we think these designs are unusual and creative. One day Liam would like to open up his own store in Afflecks Palace, in Manchester. He is full of ideas, and more designs are being planned as we type. Click here to visit his punk inspired collection.
