Lisa Ryder Designs SS15 Collection

Lisa Ryder Designs is a design lead women’s fashion accessories label. Its primary focus is on producing creative, unique and elegant women’s accessories with a strong focus on print. The brand is inspired by urban and rural landscapes and loves to create strong complimentary contrasts using these two different landscapes to inspire and create her eye-popping prints. You could say they put everything and more into their dynamic designs.

This season, Lisa Ryder Designs became fascinated with wild life programmes. One episode in particular that captured the brand’s imagination was an episode dedicated to the flamingo. Everything about them the way they walked, how their diet affects their colouring captured their imagination. Along with Lisa Ryder Design’s love of nature she was gifted a book on the art of kimono painting. Also during this time she stumbled across some books on surrealist painters and she became reacquainted with Salvador Dali. Combining all of these elements Lisa Ryder decided to create her own surrealist world where flamingos played the main character. Caught up in a world of delicate water patterns and secret gardens.

Colouring this season is very bright. Lisa Ryder Designs has introduced some lilac leathers and flamingo pinks. Each piece is printed using a heat transfer technique on 100% Italian calfskin leather. The brand introduced a new handbag and drawstring shape and there are eight pieces in this season’s collection. Each print is designed and imagined in house. As always each piece is limited edition. Lisa Ryder Designs, may conform to the idea of seasons but they follow the mantra of exclusive fashion. You are buying a unique piece from a small- specialised brand.
