Phoebe-Lettice Thompson X Illustrated People Stephanie AndersonMay 14, 20149 viewsdesignFashionStyle0 Comments9 views Just when we thought we could get over the latest fashion collaborations, we discover the latest! Illustrated People have recently announced their latest, most amazing partnership with the one and only Made In Chelsea star, Phoebe – Lettice Thompson. Phoebe first hit our screens early in 2013 on E4’s BAFTA Award winning series, Made In Chelsea. During series five and six, Phoebe was a controversial new member, renowned as the most fashion-conscious member of the cast. Phoebe has been working in the fashion industry for years and enjoys a successful career working as both a photographer and Fashion Assistant with variety of people such as; Grace Coddington, Annie Lebovitz and Mario Testino. She has now channelled her creativity into designing for East London label, Illustrated People. The inspiration behind Phoebe’s debut collection stems from her fascination of the vibrant Tokyo fashion scene. Phoebe was inspired with the way Harajuku girls approach fashion as a method of limitless self-expression. The ‘Kawaii’ (meaning ‘cute’) is a distinct Japanese theme and in order to capture this the Phoebe-Lettice Thompson X Illustrated People collection juxtaposes grotesque iconography such as bloody eyeballs with pretty pastels. Avery Parker The selection of ’90s silhouettes and cute prints will be available at illustratedpeople.com and Topshop from the 26th May, starting from £35.
