PUMA A/W’16 Terrace Collection Bailey MossSeptember 6, 20169 viewsFashion0 Comments9 views The PUMA archive has once again written a love letter to the heyday of football culture in the form of their A/W’16 Terrace collection. Since 1948, PUMA has dominated the world of football with iconic boots such as the Atom and King blessing the feet of the world’s best players. In the ‘70s, the style and flair shown on pitch was rivaled by events on the terraces. British clubs took on the giants of Europe, endeavoring to bring football back home. As the loyal fans boarded Transalpino trains across the continent, it wasn’t just the football coming home. Young British fans were exposed to Italian sportswear and more importantly, German trainers, unlike anything they had seen back home. Win, lose or draw, the travelling fans returned home with the best trainers and bragging rights at their home ground the following week. This season sees the legendary Dallas silhouette re-released in seasonal colourways. The silhouette was originally introduced in the 1980’s and became one of the most sought after trainers in various UK sub-cultures. The Dallas is due for release in the original peacoat suede with blue form stripe, teal as well as a bold red colourway and can be seen with the original D-rings alongside the trademark sole unit. The Roma can also be seen as part of the A/W’16 Terrace collection. Originally designed for the world’s best athletes to break records in at the 1968 Summer Games in Mexico and quickly became a fashion statement. The distinct toe box and rippled gum sole of the A/W’16 Roma ensures it will look as purposeful and fast as the original, even while standing on a cold concrete terrace. The Roma is due for release in Peacoat and white as well as a seasonal Picante colourway, perfect for the Autumn months. Originally created 1970’s, the Trimm Quick is a great example of PUMA’s commitment to provide footwear for all aspects of sport and fitness. Originally designed as an outdoor general-purpose trainer, the innovative studded sole and robust construction made it a hit amongst the casual crowd. The Trimm Quick will be released in seasonal colourways such as burnt Olive, Biscuit and smart Cabaret burgandy colour way. Bailey Moss The PUMA A/W’16 Terrace collection was released on the 12th of August 2016 at Office RRP: Dallas OG – £65 Roma Distressed – £60 Trimm Quick – £68.
