PUMA X House Of Hackney Collaboration Imogen McGillMay 18, 20158 viewsFashion0 Comments8 views S/S’15 will see PUMA release its second collaboration with East London fashion and interiors label, House of Hackney. Following on from the first collection, the partnership will showcase both parties unique DNA to dramatic effect, creating an exclusive footwear and apparel range that merges classic elements with the strikingly quirky. Founded in 2010 as an interiors brand with an emphasis on quality, design and ‘Made in England’, the House of Hackney husband and wife duo Javvy M. Royle and Frieda Gormley have captured the zeitgeist with their innovative designs. Celebrated for their irreverent take on all things British, the two relish on taking the traditional and turning it on its head and have done just that with this next collaboration, adding a new meaning to traditional PUMA silhouettes through the application of fresh, House of Hackney prints. The classic R698, featuring PUMA’s trademark technology, and the Becker OG – the shoes that saw Tennis champ Boris Becker win at Wimbledon in 85’ are both re-imagined in a bright, bold print. Apparel sees key running styles including a T7 jacket and the iconic PUMA Windbreakers viewed through the HOH’s unique, ever-creative lens. Fresh House of Hackney prints see the collection basked in the sunshine of the Palmeral palm tree print as well as delving into dark florals of the Midnight Garden print. The marriage of iconic styles that perfectly represents both brands has created a refreshing collection of modern classics fit for S/S’15. Imogen McGill The PUMA X House Of Hackney / R698 is available now at Oki – Ni and End Clothing with the full collaboration due for release later this season at House of Hackney.
