Style Predictions: Fashion runways and events across the globe have seen models and celebs alike swapping their heels and uncomfortable shoes for a more comfortable alternative. Trainers are coveted by musicians, teenagers and have now broken into the fashion world, with their versatility and various styles. It’s been predicted that luxury trainers and sporty footwear is going to blow up in 2017, forget the high street brands, this year it’s all about luxury. People are growing tired of uncomfortable clothing and this is leading to a fashion revolution. Luxury Footwear: Some of the biggest trainer brands, like Nike and New Balance, are being swapped for customised and stylish alternatives from the likes of Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Android Homme, who offer a luxurious twist on a sportswear classic. Trainers are undeniably one of the most cherished wardrobe pieces and now they’re stepping out into the spotlight and taking their place on the high-fashion podium. Celebrities and models have been swapping out their toe-pinching blister-making heels, platforms and boots for trendy and luxury trainers at different events, bringing an added bit of class to the sporty loo. Imagine how much better a night out would be if you didn’t have to discomfort of wearing heels? Where it all Began: Luxury trainers are the child of the “sportsluxe” trend that is huge at the moment. Celebrities and high-fashion designers have been collaborating with big named brands to create a more luxurious and high-end designs. Stella McCartney, famous fashion designer, led the way for the rise of luxury sportswear and footwear when she collaborated with Adidas to create a more superior trend. Kanye West also followed in her footsteps, creating his signature footwear “Yeezys”, which are some of the most sought after luxury trainers in the fashion world.
