röyksopp gakkai A/W’17 ‘Socialphobia Club’ Collection Lina AyersJanuary 2, 201711 viewsFashion0 Comments11 views Introducing the most incredible collection, yet from röyksopp gakkai. Inspired by 90’s American movies, such as; Napoleon Dynamite, Heathers and Rushmore, some of the teens are all having problems to deal with, within their peer group. People may have found them being arrogant and a little nerdy but they are just another ordinary teen who is full of anxieties. Imagine all these teens with socialphobia gathering together after school for a school club event? That would be the coolest school club ever. Inverted shirts, oversized jackets, dungarees, maxi centre pleat skirts, bell-bottom pants, is all you can see for A/W’17. Silhouettes were mainly based on mid 90’s style and outfits worn by the super characters in the different movies. While having a retro hint of colouration with pink, khaki, dark green and dark grey, alongside with white and red as complimentary colours. These all gave a strong sense of the 1990s. Using ruffles, o-rings and metallic hardware as decoration, these were all popular design features used in the old days. Fabrications included cashmere blend, thick velvet, dense oxford shirt fabric, peached tencel and brushed twill fabric, create a various range of visual effect and hand-feel throughout the whole collection. A retro style yellow checked wool blend fabric was also introduced into the collection as a highlight. Lina Ayers Click here to visit the röyksopp gakkai website.
