röyksopp gakkai A/W’15: Kill, Baby… Kill Collection Lina AyersDecember 10, 201527 viewsFashion0 Comments27 views Recently röyksopp gakkai introduced us to its A/W’15 collection, entitled Kill, Baby… Kill. The concept of this collection originated from evil child horror films from the 1960’s. “Operazione Paura (aka Kill, Baby…Kill!)” and “Village of the Damned” were the main inspiration for this collection to take place. Both of the movies were about kids who had caused unconscious suicide of the villagers. Blond hair of the kids, delicate gowns, impeccable German style uniform-liked outfits. These all attract eyesight. Silhouettes were based on kidswear in 1960’s. Using different fabric manipulation techniques, this collection includes smocked dresses, pleated skirts, and collars and edges with scalloped detail. For colouration, warm grey, ash blue in a pastel palette, and white were used. Fabrics include peached cotton, wool, corduroy and cashmere- acrylic knit, which create comfort and softness.
