SAFIA Drop New Single 'Over You'

Australian electronic 3-piece SAFIA, have today revealed the cinematic new video for their single, ‘Over You’. The song recently reached the coveted position as most played track on Australia’s Triple J radio, and currently sits at over one million Spotify streams globally. The band recently completed a series of European tour dates, including a sold out headline show at London’s OSLO, as well as the closing set of Communion’s ‘Bushtock’ festival. The video for ‘Over You’ is directed by New Zealand-based concept specialist Marcus Hofko of The Bow and shot in the UK. The cinematic clip is a surrealist visualisation of the haunting effect a broken relationship can leave behind. Littered with rotting apples and still life imagery, it is a visual shift from the darker tones of their previous acclaimed videos – the post-apocalyptic You Are The One and Make Them Wheels Roll, which reached #2 in the Hype Machine charts.

Having played capacity venues around the world, SAFIA have supported Lorde and Disclosure, performed at Groovin the Moo, Field Day, Splendour In The Grass, Falls Festival, The Great Escape (UK), Primavera Festival (SPAIN), SXSW and more, and now have This That, Southbound and Beyond the Valley to look forward to. SAFIA will be joined on tour in Australia by Sydney duo Set Mo, whose breakout single White Dress (ft. Deutsche Duke) clocked over 4.5 million Spotify streams and spurred an impressive circuit of festival appearances including Splendour In The Grass, Field Day and Beyond The Valley.
