Sleeping Pills: Missing Piece Collection

The latest collection from Sleeping Pills has drawn its inspiration from an illustrated book called, “The Missing Piece”, by Sheldon Allan “Shel” Silverstein which is about a journey to discover The Missing Piece. The inspirations have interpreted and constructed into a Jigsaw figure, a simple yet unique symbol, that is being composed in each design; through shape, pattern, and textile, which is another distinguished identity from Sleeping Pills. For this collection, two illustrated prints are crafted especially; one is called, “Puzzling Me” and the other is called “Falling Piece”.

The designs still keep the characteristics of the Sleeping Pills woman who is full of confidence and who is elegant and charming. By using modern silhouettes, in Sleeping Pills’ style; combined with the use of many different fabric types in each piece, and cutting techniques in the shape of a jigsaw piece; creating the perfect combination.

The colour palette for this collection is meant to be simple and wearable but still outstanding in its way, including white, power blue, space grey and light purple. From the designs to the colour tones, this collection is promised to be full of life, interesting and ready to be explored to find that something that has been missing in you.
