Son Of Wild A/W’14: A unique approach to menswear Imogen McGillOctober 24, 20140 viewsFashionLookBookmenswear0 Comments0 views Son Of Wild is a contemporary menswear label and creative studio founded by designers Jake Phillips and Tim Chapman. A brand still in its infancy SOW launched in October 2013, in this short time the label has quickly gained recognition for its unique approach to menswear. With early careers developing in the arts, the design approach is strongly print focussed. Their influences are drawn from as far and wide as America to the Middle East. The overall style of each collection fuse ideas from vintage trends and classic workwear alongside cleaner, longer silhouettes. Projects carried out by the SOW Studio encapsulate the same ideas and approach to design as the label itself, keeping simplicity at the core and aligning with unique statement design. The A/W’14 collection encapsulates the simplicity of each piece, from plain holiday hats to minimalistic printed shirts, alongside overcoats and plenty of denim. The new collection is available now and in their online store, ranging from just £35. Imogen McGill Click here to visit the website.
