StellaSport is a brand new adidas sports range aimed at a younger audience, under the creative direction of Stella McCartney. Launching this month, the range combines sport and style with bold branding, explosive colours and fresh prints; redefining sportswear with a brand new approach for the age group. Designed for the action girl, adidas StellaSport comprises apparel, footwear and accessories, introducing sports performance technologies.

Stella wanted to create a new line of activewear-meets-athleisure pieces aimed at a younger, cooler audience, think Cara Delevingne – who Stella is quite close with, and who could be her inspiration for this latest collection.

In a statement, McCartney said, “The Adidas StellaSport girl is young, current and vibrant, looking to make a statement and stand out — we wanted to bring that to life within the collection and fuse performance with style to create performance pop.”

‘Standing out’ seems to be the inspiration for this range as it takes extreme detail with the use of colour blocking, contoured crop tops, raised necklines and exposed zips.  The Adidas StellaSport range, priced between £15 and £80, comprises clothes, footwear and accessories.
