Stighlorgan ‘Knock John’s Horizon’ S/S 2018 Collection Lina AyersApril 17, 20187 viewsFashion0 Comments7 views As with every Stighlorgan collection, their S/S’18 collection has been influenced by a story written specifically to inspire the design direction. This season is called Knock John’s Horizon. Knock John is a military fortress built ten miles out to sea. A solo crew member reminisces about the home he left behind and which he longs to see again. He can only see a distant horizon but he knows and remembers the coast he is looking at as if he were there. The brand used this starting point to create a season which combines military and nautical colours. The rocky horizon imagery was used to create a new custom Stighlorgan camouflage called ‘Highland camo’. Functionality remains key. Comfort, adjustability and waterproofed fabrics feature throughout. Japanese made high density nylon, ripstop nylon, abrasion proof poly canvas and Stighlorgan’s trademark coated duck canvas, all in their new sping/summer 2018 colour pallet.
