Tavi Gevinson. It’s all about this 4ft nothing, young fashionista – we are here to tell you why: She’s a genius, she expresses sheer brilliance on every level. At 14 (only just), her blaze attitude, her eccentric style is definitely, without doubt electrifying. She takes trashy to the next level, we’ve read things on the internet about her, well, read what people have been saying about her.

Most people slate her style off endlessly, and about her appearance her in general, why? We have no idea. Maybe she is taking “trashy” to the next level, but who cares. What typical 14 year old wants a blue rinse on her ash blonde dyed head along with wearing 27 T-shirts at the same time and disturbingly patterned knee high socks? She is quite clearly in a world of her own, in fact, we want to dive in this world of hers too. It’s somewhat refreshing and beyond creative. 

We can imagine grass being made out of crazy cat patterned fabric, every day of the week. her world probably rains tiny, plastic, rainbow coloured beads- that’s if it even rains. People should back up a little before they start spraying their opinions all across the internet. “If she was my kid, I’d lock her up..” “if she was my kid, she wouldn’t be blogging..” blah blah blah. Well she is not your kid, your kid is probably getting messed up somewhere, or pretending they’re too cool for school getting high with their good for nothing pals. No, probably your kid is sat alone in their bedroom, hating their life more than you hate yours. 

People should back up a little before they start spraying their opinions. “If she was my kid, I’d lock her up..” “if she was my kid, she wouldn’t be blogging..” blah blah blah. Well she is not your kid, your kid is probably getting fucked up somewhere at the age of 14 or pretending they’re too cool for school getting high with their good for nothing mates. No, probably your kid is sat alone in their bedroom, hating their life more than you hate your life. 

Tavi is simply geeking it out, as happy as Larry behind her laptop, blogging her life away like there’s no tomorrow, entertaining the fashion world, giving us all something fresh to read. She is easily a breath of fresh air. Yes, she is young, but all the kids seem to be growing up too fast these days. A blog is harmless, what she is going is harmless and we honestly think her parents are the luckiest parents in the world to have her. Someone entirely inventive, there is no one like Tavi.
